Safety Riding
Not until last week that we have decided (and had the budget) to buy new helmets... the safer ones. :) We travelled down South to Festival Mall, Alabang just to get our new safety gears. We got them from RideGear, since they sell them at cheaper prices against other stores in Manila.
I actually didn't have the plan yet to buy my own helmet. But since it was a long travel and it's already dark (at 9 in the evening), I decided to buy one for myself too.
Why in different angles, you ask? Well, it's because I'm flaunting the stickers we had made just to personalize our helmets (hubby's has his name on the other side of the helmet and mine's so kikay). Hehehe...
Too Fast
She's growing up too fast. {sigh} I'm already missing her baby wails when she wants to be carried, fed, or when she needs a diaper change. Hehehe... But I'm happy she's growing up the way we have always wanted her to be.
Keep it up, girl! You'll always be our baby. :)Monday, December 8, 2008
My First Coach
My MIL's coming home tomorrow night from Tokyo. And since my SIL loves me so much (naks!), she's sending a Coach bag for me. She bought me a Signature Stripe Tote as her advance birthday gift. And the moment she told me that, I got sooooooo excited and happy! :)
Thanks so much Ate Beth for this wonderful gift. I soooo appreciate it and I looooove it! :)
And with it being my FIRST Coach bag, here's a sneak of what I'm having, except that mine isn't zip top:

Only 9 Days To Go...
I just hope she enjoys her 2nd birthday even without the party. :) One of hubby's uncle arrived from the US and an aunt will be arriving from Japan on the 20th, so we hope the lil girl will have bulging pockets on her birthday. :)
Anyway, even if there's none, I'm sure to make her very happy on her special day.

No Tricks, All Treats
Good thing she did not get sick after the event. She was wearing a furry costume yet the area was soooo hot, with no ventilation at all. It rained a few minutes before 2pm, so the program started 1 hour late. And since the area was not covered, everyone had to stay on both sides of the stage. It was actually a riot! Hahaha!
They also had games, but since my lil girl is too young for those, we stayed at Q Power Station at the 2nd floor. We played a few games until it was time for the distribution of loot bags. They started calling kids in ascending order from number 1, and since we're number 176, we still had enough time for the carousel ride. She was pointing at the carousel calling the horses. Hahaha!
To sum it all up, I think the best part for my lil girl was the loot bag filled with candies. She enjoyed running around Fun Ranch, looking for the next shop to visit, and fill her bag with candies! Hahaha! She's a certified sweet tooth, you know. :) Too bad, I was not able to take a shot of her loot bag, she didn't want to let go of it. Hahaha!

4 More Days To Go
My bro's girlfriend offered her niece's pink leopard costume which was used last year. And here's how she would look like:
DD wore it once and she looked soooo cute in it! Can't wait for the actual event! Hehehe!
However, I'm still thinking of getting her a hula (Hawaiian) costume - bikini top and grass skirt - since I know she'll melt while roaming around Tiendesitas. The place is soooo hot! Anyway, with the very limited time I have - leaving the house for work at 6:30AM and arriving home at 8:00PM - I wonder how I can drop by Divi to get a cheap costume. Hehehe :)

One Month To Go
Anyway, we're not planning a party for her but we're sure to give her a blast on her special day. We originally plan to bring her to Enchanted Kingdom, but were held back by the thought that the rides are more enjoyable for the adults than the kids.
Next idea is Manila Ocean Park. I know she would love to be surrounded by swimming fishes and sharks. But I thought the price is not worth the entertainment awaiting. You'll tire your legs and feet from walking inside the large aquarium seeing only the sea creatures as they dance in the water for PHP450?! And that would take you less than 1 hour to finish the adventure.
Our last option is Star City. Everytime we pass by CCP/Roxas Blvd./Gil Puyat, as long as she sees the the wizard's large hat and the lights flashing outside the park, she would scream "Tartity!" And when you tell her you'll go out with her, she would say either "Eshem" for SM, "Jajijee" for Jollibee, or "Tartity" for Star City. So we thought that's the cheapest option that she'd enjoy. For just PHP300 for RAYC ticket and PHP60 for entrance fee, it's worth enjoying the place! Hahaha!

Look Ma, One Hand!
Since the start of this month, hubby would drop me off the Recto station of LRT2 at around 6:30 to 6:45 in the morning. But yesterday was different. Right in front of the station gate is a U-turn slot. We always take a U-turn there so we can easily get to the gate. But yesterday, our S8 slipped, leaving us front flat on the floor. We were both covered with dirt since it drizzled earlier that morning, leaving the road wet and slippery. Hubby stood up immediately as he heard me wail with hurt. I was crying of my aching left arm. He stood the S8 up, then reached for me and accompanied me as we aboard the S8 again. Then, we went home.
Though we both know that we were hurt, I was the one who asked him to go home first so we can change clothes and take a rest for a while as we were both dizzy from the fall. We rested for a few minutes at home, changed shirts, then went to the UST hospital for my examination. He was hurt too, with bruises on his left cheek, lower lip, chin, left arm, left knee and left leg, but nothing major. Mine was the one he insisted to have checked. We went straight to the ER and was attended by the doctor. They asked me questions, had me x-rayed, asked hubby to buy an arm sling for me, and then let me wear them.
At first sight, no fracture can be found on my x-ray. But since I could not turn/twist my arm, the Ortho-Surgeon suggested to leave my x-ray so they can further examine as it is not compatible that I don't have any fracture yet I could not move my arm. Though he already told me that it looks like my arm was a bit dislocated as the bone went a bit through my radial joint, thus I am unable to move it. :(
We'll come back on Thursday for the x-ray results and the medical certificate, which costs 50 Pesos, that I requested. Then hopefully, my arm gets better by next week. However, the Ortho-Surgeon already advised to keep my arm sling worn for 2 weeks. :(
Baby Girl At The Casino
We were there for the Wanders show. That afternoon, a friend of mom called to tell that she got us 5 tickets to the Wanders show. So at night, off we went. The show was spectacular! At first, I was expecting of just the usual circus show, less the big elephants and lions. Hahaha! Well, I was wrong. It was a musical show showcasing the different talents of Chinese acrobats and classically-trained Russian dancers. The production as a whole was very great! Kids and adults alike enjoyed the show, even my 2-year old daughter!
Since cameras are not allowed inside, we were not able to capture a few scenes. Hence, I got these from other sites just to share with you:
Wanders is a spectacular musical extravaganza that combines the elements of theater, concert, circus and dance in one exciting show. It is a sentimental journey of two “wanderers” who are brought into different magnificent acts by a tourist guide.
We were so lucky to witness the show for free! :)

Handbag For Free
Handbag Planet is an angel to all handbag lovers. Their bags are just my type. Aside from the great styles, I think the sizes are also good - not too big and not too small. They're having a contest wherein you can win a handbag every hour. They're having this before their launch on October 15, and that's only 5 days away. So hurry, sign up now so you can join their raffle. :)
Another Year To Celebrate
For this year, we plan to let her enjoy her day either at Gymboree or at Enchanted Kingdom. I know, she cannot experience the rides yet, but she can experience the magic, as their tagline goes "The magic is here." Hahaha! Well, she enjoyed Star City so we're sure that she'll enjoy EK more.
Looking forward to giving her one of the best days she can have. :)
MIA
On another note, SIL had her first ultrasound last week. It was very nice to know that everyone's fine, she and especially the baby. We were very excited when we knew she's pregnant again, yet very worried as she is diabetic. So we never get tired of reminding her to take care of her health as the baby will be affected. So far, so good. Prayers are really very powerful. :)
As for our lil girl, she loves singing now! Hahaha! Your day won't end without hearing her sing her heart out. :D She loves Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Barney's I Love You Song, Old MacDonald Had A Farm, and a lot more. Though I haven't recorded her singing yet. That's my assignment for the weekend. :)
It's Friday and it's raining... I think it's our bed calling me. Hahaha! Unfortunately, I can't spend much time sleeping over the weekend, lotsa things to do. :)

Great Weekend That Was
Saturday - we went to Tagaytay. As I've mentioned on my previous post, we went to Tagaytay riding our S8. :) At 5AM, DH and I were already at the Caltex C-5. We met up with the other MCP members and then we went straight to Caltex Alabang to meet the other participants. We took the East Service Road going to Alabang. We were there at around 7AM. Then, we left Alabang at around 8AM.
From there, we passed by Daang-Hari, Molino, GMA Cavite, out to Aguinaldo Hi-way, straight to Tagaytay. The fastest we did was 100kph, which was not bad as there were 2 of us riding. One of the participants was actually complaining 'cause he couldn't reach 100kph the fact that he's alone on his bike. Hahaha!!! :)
The ride was smooth and cheap. We only spent around Php250 for the entire trip (Manila-Eastwood-C-5-Alabang-Tagaytay-Manila). Not to mention the food was free. Hahaha! Although tiring especially for my back (lucky are those who have the GIVI), it was so much fun! :) DH promised we'll do it again.
Sunday - We woke up at around 8AM and immediately prepared for the 9AM mass. I gave DD a nice bath, dressed her up, had myself and hubby prepare afterwards. We had mass at Binondo Church (Minor Basilica of St. Lorenzo Ruiz), went to 168, had breakfast at McDo, played a little at Timezone (one of DD's favorite play place) and went shopping. Although we didn't have much to shop, we just got 2 rain gears for DH and me, a belt bag for him, a pair of shoes for me, and a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse DVD for DD. She had so much fun running around the place! Hahaha! Oh, and she even called one of the mannequins Mu-mu. She thought the mannequin was scary. Hahaha!
We had lunch at home - pork binagoongan was superb! Then had an afternoon nap. Although at 2PM, we were up already. We dropped the lil girl to my parents' place, then hubby and I went to buy diapers and to the salon for his haircut.
Back to my parents' place, everyone craved for some inihaw. We went out to buy a lot of inihaw. Hahaha! Then at night, we had halo-halo and bibingka. Yum!

Off To Tagaytay
Anyway, I'm so looking forward to this exciting trip. I hope everything will turn out fine, especially that rain has been pouring hard for the past few days. And of course, that we'll come home to DD safe and sound... and with lotsa pasalubong, of course! Hahaha!
History Repeats Itself
I left the office past 9AM and reached home at around 11:30AM. Unfortunately, electricity was out so we just had lunch. Power was restored at around 1PM. At that time, I already invited DD to bed and put her to sleep. By the time she fell asleep, it was already 2PM. Uh oh... Only 1 hour left for me to sleep and I know, I'll just give myself a headache. Yet, I still tried, but to no success (again).
So, at 3PM, I got up and readied myself for the office. I left at 4:30PM as I need to be in the office at 6PM.
Now, I'm working. Hehe... Well, I hope I can still get enough sleep before I leave at 4AM. Wish me luck! :)
Not Even A Minute Of Sleep
So here I am, sleepless at 1AM.

Bad Momma
Well, I just thought I had to share this...
Earlier at the LRT, there's this woman with 3 kids (I guess they're aged 3, 6, and 8) sitting in front of me. The two elder kids were talking about the continents, "Asia, Europe, North America, South America, ..." Then the mom suddenly butt in, "Uy, history yang pinag-uusapan nyo ah!" I bet, she does not help the kids with their homeworks. Geez...
Then later on, the youngest said, "Si kuya, pulis." Then the mom turning to the eldest son, "Kuya, pulis ka daw? Diba beauty queen ka?" Ok, fine!
A few minutes later, they were talking about Dyesebel - a teleserye in GMA7. The aunt who was with them said, "Eh Richard na Richard nga yan eh." (pertaining to the 8-year old boy as Richard Gutierrez' look-alike). Then the mom (again) corrected, "Marian na Marian nga eh!" (she wants the boy to be Marian Rivera's look-alike).
She must be one very proud mom to a gay son... yet the son is fully convinced he's not gay.
Takaw
Now, I'm so full I could sleep soundly the whole night! Hahaha!!! Just kidding. I need to keep myself half awake for incoming calls and emails (I'm on a night shift in the office).

Happy 17th Birthday, Sis!
Her highschool barkada came in earlier as they wanted to surprise my sister. They made a banner with cut-out letters and a jumbo card for her. Her bestfriend made a freehand sketch of her which was soooo nice! :) And the gang also chipped in for a bag and a cake as their gifts for her. She was surprised with lots of balloons and a party popper as soon as she opened the door. I can't even forget her reaction when she got surprised. Hahaha!!!
At night, beer was flowing. Well, she's already in college so she's allowed to drink. :)
I hope you had a blast, Sis! Can't wait for next year, it'll be your 18th then. :)

She's Getting Better
We went to her pedia Tuesday morning and had her eyes checked. It is actually the second time she had sore eyes. The first time, we used Tobradex. But since the pedia suggested that Tobradex may not be effective to the bacteria causing her sore eyes now, we switched to Maxitrol.
However, I'm using both eye drops. I use Tobradex when I'm in the office, and Maxitrol when I'm at home. I hope it won't cause any further irritations since I'm using two different meds. But I had to leave Maxitrol to her, leaving me no choice but to use Tobradex while I'm out of the house.
Hope we'll get well very soon. :)

Sore Eye
The lil girl has sore eye since last week (and it's getting better now) and it got me infected as well. Good thing Tobradex is good for kids and adults. So, we're sharing the same eye drops. :)
I'm actually expecting my eye to get better in a few days, hopefully in 5 days or less. Though it's not at all hurting and itchy, it's just that the feeling is different when you have it. :)
Happy Birthday, Dada!
I can't believe I'll be 26 years old in 4 months. Hahaha! Well, it's not a problem for me though. As the TV commercial goes "It's okay to be 40, just as long as you look 30." Hahaha! And I think I don't look 26 naman. Hahaha! I even know one who's only 22 but looks older than me. ;)
Anyway, I know this post is already late but "Happy Birthday, Da!" Nicole and I wish you good health, more love, and more money! Hahaha! We love you so much! Mmmmwwwahhh!!!
I'll be posting some pics later. :)
Plurk
Now, I already have 16 friends and 13.21 Karma points in Plurk. Though my points are still very low to have additional features, but in time, it will increase. :)
And I can now prove that it is addicting! Hahaha! I mean, that you wouldn't want to miss a single response, or else, you'll be flooded with unread updates and responses. Hahaha!
Join Plurk! :) Or you might want to receive an invite from me, that would be great! Hehehe...

Happy Birthday, Miel!
Last Sunday, September 7, was my niece's third birthday. And since she didn't have parties on her 1st and 2nd birthdays, I thought of letting her experience it this time.
Well, it was not actually a party - lots of guests, games, puppet show, food carts, etc. Nope, she still didn't have them. Yet, I enhanced her simple birthday celebration. Instead of just spending her birthday with the usual "kainan", I provided her with party hats, lotsa balloons and loot bags. We also had some game prizes prepared, but since there were only 3 kids who attended (3yo and below), we just gave them away as a loot. Instead of a simple cake, I bought a Dora the Explorer cake topper and cut out some others as added decoration. We also had ice cream on cone and the usual hotdogs with marshmallows (always in kiddie parties). And to make her candle-blowing extra-special, I bought my bubble machine and popped some party poppers. I'm sure everyone had fun (especially with the party poppers, hehehe). :)
Just sharing:
You'll Be Missed
My MIL's leaving in 3 hours. She's going back to Tokyo to take care of my SIL and her family. Well, my SIL's pregnant with their second child. And being a mom to a 3-year old lil girl while dealing with the effects of diabetes during pregnancy requires a much needed help from, who else, mom.
Every year, my SIL's family spends Christmas in Manila. But since she'll be giving birth in February 2009, and she opts to give birth here, they'll be coming home to Manila in January 2009 instead. Unfortunately, BIL won't be with them that early as he's only allowed with 2 weeks of leave from work. So he'll be here a few days before my SIL gives birth.
Sis, I wish you safe pregnancy. Take care! Mwah!
And to Mommy, we'll miss you! See you in December (I guess). Mwah!

Emo = Laslas
I've found one of my best guy friends here in the office. And since he's leaving in... uhm 2 days :( ... I'm starting to miss him (we seldom see each other since we're on different shifts). I'll surely miss my best breakfast-lunch-merienda-dinner-inuman bud, my best confidant, my best advisor, the best love-breakup-recovery stories, the best smile, and most of all, the best boxer ever (he makes me his punching and pinching bag).
Seriously, I'm getting emotional na 'cause I'll miss you a lot. :( I can now imagine how my days will be at the office... without you but with them. Sakit sa ulo!
Inviting The Stork Over
Whenever I feel helpless, taken for granted, less loved by the husband - call it self-pity - I would always think of getting pregnant again. Not because I want another baby this early, considering DD is only 1 year and 9 months old, but because I want to feel special, again.
The perks of being pregnant include more attention from people, especially your husband, being the boss, and being too much pampered and loved. I'd love to feel that again.
I just hope I don't need to get pregnant again just to have those extra-special treatments. :(
Adventure In The Middle Of C.M. Recto
Just before I rode the first jeep, I can already see the water ahead. Thus, I expected flood along the way. But when I reached Divisoria, I couldn't help myself but utter some bad expression because of what I saw - people walking in the middle of the road with dirty water almost knee high. OMG! With that, I already knew I'll be having the same experience. :(
Aside from Divisoria, I also had my feet swim in the dirty waters of Recto, just before Avenida. Poor legs and feet, poor skin too. :(
As soon as I reached the office, I went to the shower room and had my legs and feet washed THRICE with soap and water.

WFH
At 8PM, I left home. It took me at least 10 minutes waiting for the first jeep to ride on. That means, only a few are traveling. When I got to Divisoria, flood was at least 6 inches high. Bearable as I just folded up my pants, I was able to pass through it. As the jeep reached Recto (before Arranque Market), we got stuck in traffic. After 30 minutes of being stuck there, I already phone my boss. Though she was still hoping that I can make it to the office, I'm already hopeless. Flood was already above my knees (around 2 feet high, I guess). With the flood and the traffic, I was not able to get off the jeepney. So, I got stuck there for at least 1 hour.
When she finally allowed me to work from home (as she got hopeless too), I was not able to get off immediately. I still had to wait for the vehicles to move, until I saw land so off I went. However, it still took me at least 1 hour to get home. (But on an ordinary day, it usually takes me 15 minutes of travel from home to that place.) As soon as I got home, I went online and started working.
Of course, the lil girl was happy to have me here tonight. Although we were not able to play before going to sleep, she was still happy to sleep with me. So now, she's here, sleeping like an angel, beside me. :)
Not Because Of Us
R-E-S-P-E-C-T is the key. Should they have known to respect other people's privacy and ownership, should they have known to appreciate other people's effort and contributions, "argument" would not been part of our vocabulary, I tell you.
When will they ever learn?

I hope I can sneak for a few hours of sleep later.

Sunday Night Out
So last Sunday was fun! Papa had to use his Adidas gift certificate as it was already the last day, August 31. And since the lil girl has always been wanting to go back to Trinoma, off we went. :)
The heavy rain did not stop us. We left home at around 6PM, while the rain was just starting. We were in 2 cars: sis, bro, and his GF in one car; me, hubby, Mama, Papa, and the lil girl in the other. It took us a few minutes to find a parking space (the mall was packed).
First, we went grocery shopping. It was Papa's first time to use his credit card, and his knees weakened when he saw the total amount at the counter. Hahaha!
Next, the Adidas store. There were actually 2 Adidas stores there, but my bro found a nice pair of shoes in the bigger store. So, that's where they used the GC for.
Last, dinner at Teriyaki Boy. It was their first time to eat there (not for me and hubby), so I had to guide them on which to order. Well, it's good to know everyone was so full. Hehehe... And since Papa was so weak due to the grocery bill, Mama and I volunteered to pay for the dinner.
Hope we can do it again soon. And I hope it will be more often. :)
Cam Strap From Jacq
Though I know I have a small chance of winning (the other girls have more than one blog, and I only have one. hahaha!), it's still fun joining this contest. :) Well, I actually look forward to being a member of their circle. I really wish to be their online friend. Hehehe!

9 Days
I planned to spend at least 3 days in Laguna with DD, but DH didn't want us to. So, I had no choice but to stay at home and wait for him coming from the office every afternoon. Bum! Hahaha!
Anyway, I enjoyed it a bit as I was able to spend endless days playing with and taking care of DD. I was also able to do some wifey duties which I have not done during office days (going to the market, cooking, preparing lunch/dinner, etc.).
I wish for more days like that. I wish to spend more time with my family. I wish we can afford it soon. :)

TGIF
On another note, it's a sad day as today is the Research team's last day in the office. :( They should be staying until September 15 but they'll be taking a terminal leave starting Tuesday next week. :( To the team, thank you for all the hard work and the laughters you've shared. Good luck to all of you and God bless!
And for the others, I still hope to see them when I get back. Vic, night shift ka sa September ha? :) See you guys!
We're off to Quiapo Church today. Hubby's already waiting downstairs. Enjoy your weekend! :)
I Missed Them
I asked her how the family is. I'm actually close to the family, and has been an all-time-wanted DIL by his parents. Unfortunately, maybe by fate, we're not meant for each other. Anyway, she told me a few info about the family. And I don't see them being fine.
XBF has a 2-year old daughter and a wife, but they're not married. The reason: he does not want to marry her. Ouch for the girl! But as the cousin told me, he already said she's not the girl whom he'll marry. Another ouch!
On to the family, Daddy is in the US; XBF as well. But XBF left his wife pregnant. Intentional, as the cousin said, since he'll be away for about a year. Then, Mama is here with XBF's younger bro. Although, younger bro will fly off to US soon (as petitioned by Daddy).
On another note, cousin's Kuya has also left home. He's been living-in with the girlfriend. And as for their mom, they haven't heard from her for more than a year now. {sigh}
So much has changed. Before, the house was filled with so many people and everyone was close with each other. But now, it's almost empty; with only 3 adults living there, and 2 kids. {sigh}
I honestly feel sorry for them. Not because they have parted ways, but because they had to live far from each other. But in time, everything will fall into places.

Manga Face
So, they showed me the site where I can get them. And in a few minutes, voila! I got my own manga avatar! Yay!
Get yours now! :D
Past-time
Last weekend, my aunt gave me a CD with installers of various Yahoo! games such as Ice Cream Mania, Supermarket Mania, Pastry Passion, etc. Hehe... Sounds kiddo? But I enjoy playing them, really. Actually, my good friend-officemate-teammate-seatmate here asked for a copy. Hahaha!
Would you like to have a copy? Just tell me. *wink*
Which Do You Prefer?
2. chocolate or vanilla? Vanilla. Though I love chocolate, I love vanilla more. :)
3. coffee or tea? Either. Basta iced.
4. renting a movie and staying home or going out to the theater? Theater. We seldom go out and watch a movie, so that I prefer.
5. regular books or audio books? Regular books.
6. driving to a faroff destination or just taking an airplane? Driving, to familiarize myself with the way so I won't get lost the next time I go there.
7. hamburger or hotdogs? Hamburger, especially if it comes with lettuce and tomatoes.
8. listening to music or watching tv? Watching TV. Though our TV doesn't know me anymore. :D
9. Desperate Housewives or Survivor? Desperate Housewives.
10. homecooked meal or fancy restaurant? Restaurant. I love eating out. :)
New Look
So to tame them all, I had them straightened (or rebonded). Good thing my stylist offered me a great deal. With less than Php1,000, I have availed of rebond+cellophane. Yay! FYI, cellophane alone costs at least Php700.
So happy for the new look and the great deal! :D

Today's Accomplishments
So to spend time wisely, I finished 3 layouts. Two for my sis and one for the RT. Well, BB is requesting for a layout for the RT since it'll be their last week with the company next week. So, they're planning to have a simple farewell party(?) for the team. The layout I did will be for the signature card.
As for my sis, it's their gift for a friend who'll be celebrating his birthday early next month. She's actually requesting for an AVP (with digiscrap pages as the pics), so I need to get the images ready first before I can proceed with the AVP.
Karen
I passed by C.M. Recto going to the LRT2 station at around 10:30AM, and the flood was already gutter high. Along with the heavy rain is the strong wind so public transpo is expected to be difficult for the rest of the day.

Lil Munchkin
Now, our turn... we have our own lil munchkin too! Hehehe... not a human though, but we already got the S8. :) With my brother, hubby and I went to MT last Sunday morning to get the S8. We were actually scheduled to go to Laguna on Saturday, but we had to postpone it to the next day as he wanted to have the S8 before we leave. So, on Sunday, we woke up early to attend the mass and after fetching my bro at 9AM, we headed to MT. It took us 3 loooong hours before the unit was released. Hayyy... blame it on the dot-matrix printer that they are using, it required them to manually input the info. Thus, took them at least 30 minutes to prepare the documents. (Hey, you can already buy an inkjet printer with Php2,000!)
Anyway, so Papa was waiting for us at home until he called us at 12NN. Well, he hates to wait, really. Good thing when he called, we're already done. Hubby dropped my bro off to the LRT station, and I went home straight. When he got home, he just parked the scoot and hopped in the car as we're headed to Laguna.
Here's a peek of our lil munchkin (not our actual unit though, but of the same color as ours):
Long Weekend
DD got to play with her cousin, Miel, and the dogs. My aunt has a pom-spitz and a labrador. And yes, my baby played with the oh-so-big labrador, it could swallow her whole. Hehehe... Well, the dogs are really friendly... so child-like that they enjoy playing with the kids.
I miss going there, really. When I was still studying, every summer vacation was spent there. If not for the high gas prices, we could've been visiting every weekend.

Music To My Ears
Anyway, I'm off to take a bath. I decided to prep early so we can attend the 6AM mass. TTFN! :)

Busog Night
Anyway, I think it's ok as the last meal I had was lunch, which was actually a small serving of pork sisig and rice. Hehehe

A Sin For Free
This fashion site I frequently visit once offered a contest wherein you only need to leave a comment on which Melissa shoes you like the most. Melissa is a signature for re-invented jelly shoes. Actually, I never had a pair of Melissa before, but I just based my comment on the photos of the shoe styles they have. And through random picking, I won.
Hubby drove me to the Melissa event at the C3 Events in Greenhills last Saturday. It was actually a hectic day as it was also my MIL's birthday. So, we went there just so I can get my prize. Bad, but I had no choice.
Anyway, I'm now enjoying my pair of gold Sin. It's my latest fave. Hahaha... Well, the color and the style, love it! I've always been a fan of sandals and seldom use ballet flats and heeled shoes (they make my feet sore). So, my feet actually loves the comfort and style of Sin.
Thanks to Melissa and ShopaholicUniverse for the prize. :)
If You Know Nothing, Just Shut Up
Yeah, it was almost 10PM when you told me that, and we arrived before 12NN. But my shift ends at 10PM, the reason why we were still in the office that late. Hey, do you actually know the reason why I brought my daughter to the office? Just to let you know, it's not merely for a new environment for her, but because no one's available to look after her at home. So, good for you you have a nanny. At times, you even "work" from home so you can also take care of your children. But I am not privileged to work from home, so I had to bring her here. And at least, I don't have to make my child a "reason" for not coming to work.
This is not the first time you unconsciously uttered words which had hurt other people's feelings. I suggest, if you know nothing, just keep your mouth shut!

Another Day At The Office
Well, it's actually fine with my bosses to take my DD here while I work, as they know my situation of not having a nanny for her. And the lil one's actually enjoying... as she's able to get out of the house, run around the spacious office, munch on a lot of sweets (as my officemates bribe her with so they can play with her), and eat out. Hehehe...
However, she gets to stay here until 10PM, as my shift ends. {sigh} A bit good though, so she'll be tired by the time we get home and would go straight to bed. :)

I Wish You Luck
Well, I wish you guys the best of luck. I know, you'll find a better place outside of this office. Just make the most out of the remaining 30 days to find your well-deserved working nest. God bless us...
Super 8: Now Or Later?
I actually tried my luck of convincing him to get it on September 1 (at least not August), but did not agree with me. Well, I just hope the motorcycle does not bring any bad luck, especially when it's on the road.
